It's the Daily Sweater from Mason Dixon Knitting Outside the Lines by Kay Gardiner and Ann Shane. It was a great beginner project. I think the neckline is way to wide/loose, and I still don't like the "holey" look of the raglan increases (I'll probably tweak those a bit)....but I'm rather proud of myself for tackling such a *large* project! :happydance:

What a wonderful first project! Great knitting, and it is something you will actually wear.

Pretty! :yay:

Looks a lot like my first one, too. Mine was rolled cuffs, bottom and neck though. :)

Congrats!! It looks wonderful! I still haven't tackled my first sweater project - well I do have a kimono in the works, but it's not finished ...

WOW! You got a great fit!
That's more than I can say about my first sweater.

Plus, you learned you probably don't want YO increases for your own sweaters.
Personally, I think every knitting project should offer a new learning experience.

That's so cool! I don't know if I've ever "inspired" anyone before! You can definitely do it! Great fun, and such a HUGE sense of accomplishment at the end. (My family may be getting a little tired of "affirming" what a wonderful thing I've done! )

well I thought sweaters would be terribly difficult for a beginner but it's nice to see others doing it to give me that confidence to just try it

Congrats, and welcome to Sweater World! Your pullover looks wonderful! Nice fit, great color! You'll wear this all the time! It looks so comfy! The raglan line is very flattering, too! Hey, way to go...the sleeves aren't too long! They're the perfect length!
