I've been knitting the Arwen set from www.tabithasheart.com (http://www.tabithasheart.com) or on Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com/designers/tabithas-heart). I love her designs so much I have a 'tabitha' tab on my Ravelry project page :o>

Arwen is going SO fast, I'm thinking about Christmas knitting coming up, this rocks! I'm making the whole set in Valley Yarns Northfield yarn:

Cowl (cool bag was a gift from a friend, she's going to publish it):

that is a really nice set. The hat I would make a little longer, though.
Tell your friend: nice bag!

I do have kind of a big head (no pun intended).....but I made it exactly per the pattern, so it might fit larger on others. Also, depending on the yarn you use, it might block out larger than mine did.

Just thought I'd mention that.

Some people on Ravelry have made it even smaller, I want to call it a Pixie hat, not sure why. I think because it reminds me of flower petals.

You haven't even seen the gloves yet ;)

Long ones......BTW, I had no idea my pic looked like the poster from the Twilight movie, the author of these patterns told me and sent me a link to see the poster. LOL:

Hat, cowl & long gloves:

AND don't forget how quick these are, I made the whole set (hat, cowl, keyhole scarf, short gloves pair, long gloves pair and 2 pairs of socks in a month)! I'm getting ready to make another hat, for a baby this time. Should be great!

Beautiful work, beautiful color!

:cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

How do you like the Valley yarn? I just got two different Valley yarns and can't wait to try them out but have to finish other projects first.

I LOOOOOOVED that yarn. It was my first time using it and I plan to use it again and again!!!!!!!! And in 8 skeins I found only 2 little flubs in the yarn. Very happy with it in all respects!
