ive been using the basic bind off from the video on here but find it doesnt have any give. i did use a bigger needle but it still feels tight.

is there a bind off with more give? im working on log cabin squares at the moment so i pick up from this edge in some cases :)

Try this one - k2, then knit those 2tog tbl (put L needle into the front of them to do this), k1, k2togtbl, k1 k2togtbl, and so on. Very stretchy. For log cabin squares I probably would use a bigger needle, but Jeny's Surprisingly stretchy bind off would work, too. It's linked in the previous post.
