I'm wanting to do the diagonal baby blanket by Lionbrand that calls for Amazing yarn. I don't want to use this yarn because it's partly wool and has to lay flat to dry. I want it multi-colored like the one in the picture. And I'm tired of Homespun. Any suggestions?

If you have a Hobby Lobby near you, the I Love This Yarn stripes is great. Several different colors and they do stripe.

If you don't mind buying online these are nice. I made a sweater with the chunky.

Plymouth Encore comes in dozens of colors and patterns, too.

Yep the Marble yarn is nice, it knits up at more of a worsted weight than a bulky, and the encore has a lot of multicolors.

Thanks ladies for your quick responses. I don't have a Hobby Lobby or a Ben Franklins near me so I will order the marble chunky online.

I made one with Red Heart's Baby Clouds, and it is fabulous - soft, fluffy, and machine washable/dryable.
