So many grandchildren - so little time!!

But each of them got something, and I'm proud of all the work I did! :D

Roll call:
Jillian (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/MoniDew/christmas-2010---jillian-sweater)
Haleigh (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/MoniDew/christmas-2010---haleigh-sweater)
Cameron (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/MoniDew/seamless-wedding-afghan) (requested a blanket instead of sweater and J&H's brother)

Mychael Joy (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/MoniDew/christmas-2010---mychael-sweater)(female)
Benjamin (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/MoniDew/christmas-2010---benjamin-sweater) (her brother)

Joseph (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/MoniDew/christmas-2010---joseph-sweater) (my youngest grandchild, so far....)

Still on the needles, the opposite grandma (to J, C & H) Fran (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/MoniDew/stor-rund-dug) but much further along than depicted. I'm within striking distance with less than 10 rows to go.

Not even started yet, Daughter Brielle's and daughter-in-love (son's girlfriend) Katy. Ah, me! Wish me abundant energy, dear fellow knitters. I will need it! :D

Great job!!! Everything looks wonderful!! Good luck on finishing what you've planned. I know I always plan too much and end up having to wittle that list down the closer I get to Christmas. :)

I finished up Fran's shawl late last night. New pic at Rav - still on pins - but done in time for Christmas!

Well done on all your hard work! Unfortunately I cannot see your photos as I am not on Ravelry.

I knit a mug warmer/wrist cuff for a sister in England and sent it off to her. I couldn't understand the bind-off instructions, so had to use a simpler bind-off instead. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of it before I posted it off. For a sister-in-law in Scotland I made a coaster and got that posted off too. I've had no word from either lady.

For one sister in Northern Ireland I have almost finished making a round wash cloth and for another a phone cover. I have made a phone cover for one sister-in-law and am in the process of making one for the other, both ladies also in Northern Ireland.

I had hoped to see these last 4 ladies at some stage over Christmas, but it didn't happen due to circumstances beyond our control - mainly the awful weather we have been having. Otherwise I might have worked hard and got the projects finished off and ready for giving.

How did everyone else do with Christmas gift knitting?

Beautiful stuff. I especially love Bejamin's sweater. It's such a little man outfit.

Wow, each gift is so beautiful, but what you made for Fran is exquisite!

Have you ever used blocking wires for projects like this? They are available at www.lacis.com (http://www.lacis.com) and probably other places too. I have never used them, but my mother crochets large round doilies and swears by them.

How lucky all these people in your life are to receive hand made gifts from you!

They look like such happy kids. What you made for them looks wonderful, but a happy family is a joy.

Those look really great!

I'm kind of the opposite of you - my grandparents are always the ones receiving knitted gifts from their grandchild lol. Maybe that was random, but it made me laugh when I thought about it.
