If you saw my first hat, you might remember that my daughter snagged it from me and claimed it as her own.
I found another skein of Malabrigo...same color...and decided to make one for myself.

I went down a needle size (to a 7) for the second hat, and what a difference it made! The hat fits perfectly!

I used the same buttons that I used for the first hat. They are simple, but I think that's best with the color variation.

The decreases were so much easier this time! If you decide to make this hat, I encourage you to look at the Ravelry notes I posted on the first hat. The designer did not make it very clear on how to execute the decreases. Only though numerous emails with the designer (who didn't really answer my questions) and toying with the pattern did I figure out what to do.

Regardless, it's a lovely, stylish hat that I will be proud to wear out and about!
Thanks for looking at my project!
