Hello everyone. I am brand new to this site and very new to knitting. I have done 2 scarfs, one for myself and one for my son. I am looking to try some new things. As you can assume i want something that is pretty easy but i am willing to try something harder than a knit stitch scarf haha. What would u suggest trying out first?
I started a every way wrap and i have about 45 rows done but as i look at it i am disappointed in the way it is coming out :( nothing like the picture!

If you've done all knit stitch scarves, maybe try doing a ribbed scarf. Or maybe a stockinette stitch scarf with a knit border.

You probably want to try something with a purl stitches and maybe some simple increases and decreases. You can either do another scarf or something like a simple hat. You could also do dishcloths in various patterns. Those are a great way to learn new stitches. Those are best done in cotton which can be really inexpensive.

I also have a scarf that im going to try!
Right now im doing a 12 month skirt but its a bit harder than i expected :(
