hello everyone. i searched and couldn't find this in any of the forums so hopefully i'm not re-asking a question. i recently graduated to dpn and i know that that in needle size 0-3 you have to look at the mm because there are more than one size (ex size 1 comes in 2.25mm and 2.5 mm). I just discovered that for size six, there is 2 sizes as well, a 4mm and a 4.25mm. most manufactures only make one size. like knitpicks makes only size 4mm but crystal palace make 4.25mm and that's the size i have. i was wondering if this is a big deal or do i need to get both sizes. most patterns i've seen only say size 6 and don't give the mm size. i hope i explained this clearly. Thanks to everyone in advance. LT

I think that as long as your gauge is correct with the size you have you'll be okay.
