it states that it is for a beginner knitter. If I understand the instructions which is: Row 3 (RS) : K1, (K1, wyif, slip 1), repeat to end of row...........I will actually k2, then wyif, slip 1 then repeat from what is in the parentheses? I know once I get the boarder done I will have a couple of ?'s about the body pattern but that will be in a day or so. Thank you in advance for the replies :knitting:

Yes. you've got it. The usual method is to do the slip 1 purlwise.
