View Full Version : Charity Items (Baby Set & Hat and Mitts)

Baby set is a combination of 2 patterns: Top of sweater is: 'Paulene's seamless neck down Cardigan' Pattern is similar to 'Rindy's Raglan with Garter Stitch Stripes and Eyelets' (I made some changes to this pattern). Used stash baby yarn (no label)

Notice I don't use buttons that can be chewed off... I make bobbles instead... Soft for baby, and safe.

Mittens and Hat - My own pattern (would be willing to share)
Totally knit with Portuguese style (yarn over the shoulder) Knit in the round (Magic Loop)

I see you figured out how to post a photo!

Those are adorable! I've made many baby items for charity, too.

Did you notice the buttons?

Yes! They are beautiful. I have a link for a checkerboard thing, but they aren't knitted.

Cute baby set. I made some bobble buttons once because I didn't have any to match my sweater. Work pretty neat.

Nice mittens and hat. When you do Portuguese in the round do you knit every round? I found the knit stitch hard but the purl very easy. Could you purl every round? Thanks for sharing.
