View Full Version : What To Name This Hat?

I put this up on Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/rastaflorian-hat) as "Rastaflorian Hat" :teehee: but I'm not sure I like the name. The only other thing I can think of is "Flower Power Hat". What say you guys? You've been a big help in naming patterns for me before. ANY ideas?????
It's a free pattern.

Definitely "Rastaflorian," it sounds fun and it made me smile, I like the play on Rastafarian..."Flower Power" hits me as being too used up already...

Thanks! I didn't know if I was the only one getting the "Rastaflorian" idea. :teehee:

Forgot to mention there are 2 versions, a regular slouch (shows on both my examples above) and SUPER slouchy.....and also 2 edges. The white one is plain, the brown is picot.

I vote for Rastaflorian too - I think it's cute, and appropriate!

I as well voted for Rastaflorian. It's a really cute and original name. I like the name, not just prefer it over Flower Power.
And cute hat, BTW!!!!!

LOL, I love your line "WARNING: My doctors tell me that ending all of my sentences with exclamation points is a sign of insanity! I am not yelling at you, I am just crazy!"
I guess I'm crazy too, I seem to end almost all sentences with !!!!!!!!! :D

Raphael (more artistic than Irving?) ;)
African Violets have five petals but "Pentalet" sounds creepy.
Plum and Cherry blossoms also have five petals..

"Girls Just Want to have Fun" and "Girls Just Want to Have MORE Fun!" for the super slouchy one!
Probably too long a name, but I just got that idea from the photos!
Rastaflorian is super cool too!
