Hello My Fellow Knitting Friends-

I'm looking for a patriotic sweater pattern, maybe tank style or cute cardigan. Red, white and blue and something with stars maybe. Perhaps you can give me ideas on how to design something? I've been all over the internet and the only sweater pattern I came across was one big, bulky, ugly one at Lion Brand. It looks like it's more than 20 years old!

I live in the mountains of Colorado, so it can be chilly on the 4th especially when the fireworks start. I'd like to do it in a cotton blend.

Have you considered doing a cardigan (blue with white stars) with ruffled lapel/neck/cuffs? You could make the ruffles in red/white stripes and they would look like flags in the breeze.
