Hi! :waving:

Finished a baby boy cardigan for my Great-Grandson, due in June. Baby shower is May 7th.

Anyway, I used stash yarn...the same Rowan Calmer used for his Log Cabin blankie. (http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5013/5398596058_3fd7a914ed_z.jpg)The sweater is dark purple and yellow...although for the life of me...I couldn't force my camera to "see purple"! It isn't navy blue, but that's what the camera sees. Oy.

I knit a size 0-3 mo. It's a cotton blend, and in our area, you still need to put a sweater on in the evenings, except for August. This little sweater took 2 days. I didn't block it.

It doesn't get cuter than a little sweater like that.

SO cute! I do see the purple in the second shot....I hate when my camera gives me "attitude" like that!

Very nice!! The Calmer will be so comfortable. You will have a great offering when the shower arrives. What all have you made for him now? Have you got more in the works or have you stopped?

Darling sweater! Can you post the link for the pattern? Almost all the baby sweater patterns I'm finding online are frilly for baby girls. We're having a grandchild in September but still don't know if it's a boy or girl yet. I'm looking for a pattern like this that could be gender neutral with the right colors.

That's a lovely cardi - he'll be cosy in that. The purple looks more purple in the 2nd photo, but the yellow looks more yellow in the first.

Hope everyone has a lovely time at the baby shower next month!

It is "The Sailboat Cardigan" (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sailboat-cardigan), found in a little book called "Vogue Knitting On The Go: Baby Knits." (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/vogue-knitting-on-the-go-baby-knits)

I just didn't knit in the sailboats this time 'round.

This is the book:

And click here (http://www.amazon.com/Vogue-Knitting-Go-Baby-Knits/dp/1573890111/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1302621982&sr=8-2) to buy it on Amazon, priced from $2.74 used, up to $9 new.

This is the one I knit for another grandson, 7 years ago.
