I completed this today and very pleased. I made it for my boss; she is due next month. I think it's a little too bulky for a good wrapping blanket so I'll recommend using it as a floor/crib blanket because it is so cushiony.

Lovely. The seed stitch is very effective, the purls really stand out, making a nice texture.
Very pretty! It will be perfect for a crib or floor blanket. What a lovely gift.
