Hi. I'm trying to learn how to knit, and am having kind of a hard time with it. I learned to crochet with videos on Ehow, but the instructional videos I've viewed online for knitting have been pretty low-resolution and I can't really make out what the people on them are doing. Can you recommend some higher quality instructional videos that I could watch to help me? Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried the 'Free Videos' here on Knitting Help at the top of the page? They are very informative! You know there always someone here to help you out when you have a problem. Good Luck! Jeanie

I second the Free Videos suggestion here on KH, they are really wonderful. And you could also try Youtube, there are videos for pretty much every knitting technique out there! A search for "beginner knitting" turned up an impressive list. (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=beginner+knitting+&aq=f) Good luck, and welcome to the fold! Knitting is awesome!!

There's also quite a few basic ones at Knitpicks (http://community.knitpicks.com/notes).
