For the longest time, I have been wanting to make Alan Dart's "Noah's Ark", with all the animals. I have a son named Noah, and would like to have the set available for my future grandchildren to play with.

Is anyone else planning on making this set? Or, have any of you already made it?

Right now, I'm just getting together all the yarn I need for the project. I'm planning on using mostly acrylic yarn, so it will be easy to keep clean. I'm thinking I can handwash the animals in the kitchen sink, and lay them out to dry.

So far, I've found most of the yarn I need already in my stash, but I'm still searching for a few of the grey/brown heathered and khaki colors. I might end up having to buy some of it online.
