I have just started knitting a dress for my little girl and am not clear on these instructions. Please can someone help me.

Decrease 18 times 1 st at each end of foll 2nd, in turn 4th row.

I understand that i will have to decrease a stich from both ends 18 times, but what does end of foll 2nd in turn 4th row mean. Please help.

In knitting terms, 'foll' means 'after' so 'foll 2nd row' means every 2nd row or every other row 18 times (36 rows). Not sure about the 'in turn' 4th row, though. Do you have a link to the pattern? That can help us read it with you to make sure we give you the right information.
