Hey guys, I am studying textile engineering and sometime I am very curious about how the yarn is processed from natural fibres. Its really a matter of joy to buy some yarn ingredients and I don't know how to start; any idea please.

I don't comb, card, or spin, but this video (http://www.knittinghelp.com/shop/products/the-knitters-book-of-wool) from our friendly KnittingHelp people will probably answer TONS of your questions. :)

Buy or make (http://www.joyofhandspinning.com/make-dropspin.shtml)yourself a spindle, get some wool, view this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drXid5cT0y8) (or other videos by Abby Franquemont) and get started!
