Just a little about me. We live just outside of Blue Mound, Ks and have been here 7 yrs. We have cattle, 5 horses, 1 donkey, 17 goats, 10 dogs, 2 cats & tons of feathered fowl. Not counting the barn mice... :roflhard: We love it out here and I am a retired Hairstylist. Horse lover all my life. I have been knitting and crocheting for years ...off and on...when I have time, winter is my best time to do it. Our goats are milking goats which I milk by hand. I love it! I am now starting to spin my own yarn and I love doing it also. I hope someone on here lives close and enjoys it as much as I do...

Hello from Topeka, Ks! I am also a hairstylist/stay at home mom. I am enjoying knitting so much!! I just started last month! I have made 5 scarves and I'm ready to try knitting something new. I also LOVE horses! I have ever since I was little! Ive always been a farm girl at heart but was born and raised in the city! :( ~Mina

You will love it here as they all will help as much as possible. Glad to see someone close by. If you got a problem it can usually get fixed here...Have you tried spinning yet? I love it!
I forgot in my other post we also have 2 Llamas and will hopefully be adding some Alpacas soon...DH loves them also.
This way I wont have to buy my fiber anymore...that will make him happy... :woohoo: untill it comes time to clip them... Welcome!
