I had 4 new skeins of Plymouth Encore to learn to make a 4 color, single row striped, helix. With the yarn left over from that hat I'm continuing to make hats just to see how many I can really get. These are for charity unless someone wants one like hubby or my friend. My friend bought #3 - the first hemmed hat.

So far I have three. See picture update tomorrow!

Eta- 8 hats!

This is going to be fun to see. Sounds like everyone who sees one, wants one.

Finally! Finished months ago and forgot to post. Here's the 8 hats I knitted with 4 skeins of Plymouth Encore. The first one was sold to a friend, but the rest will go to charity. Any questions please ask.

The hat that was sold is the single in the next reply.

Here's the hat that I sold. Like one of the others it was done with a two color hem. Love the effect!

Oh, I like all of them! Are they sized for adults or children? I like the two color brim, too. If they are all adult sized, that's a lot of mileage from your yarn!

Thanks!

Yes, they are all adult sized.

Love them, especially the skinny stripes!

Yeah, those are cool and the easiest IMO. No worrying about the jog! They are called a helix. If you're doing multiple colors you start them at different points. If its just two then you just start knitting and don't cross the yarns.
