Well I got to start on the second sock. I only got the ribbing done. My oldest son stopped by to visit me. He lives 2 hours away from me so I don't get to see him all the time. So I couldn't just brush him off and knit. He took me out to lunch. I was so stuffed. I ate like a pig :teehee: I waited until he left then I started knitting.

Good girl, Heather! Leaving knitting behind is hard but you did it. I'm glad you got to visit with your son. Yesterday I went out with my daughter's family to see my granddaughter in her ballet performance. It was hard but I left my knitting at home. Today I've been working on bunny body parts, have one ear to go. Then I can sew on the legs and ears and give it some eyes.

Oh yeah - it's one of the things we inherited from you lot, and a huge retail splurge it is.
I was just whingeing about how we non-mothers miss out.
But of course I was being silly: we don't have to put up with a fraction of what mothers do.
