View Full Version : FO: Loopy Brim Hat

I had some scraps of Malabrigo worsted and Madelinetosh so I made this hat up. It turned out to be really odd colored but I like it and it will be nice and warm in the winter. This hat is knitted on circular needles and the brim is made using a loop stitch. (Also called fur stitch) You can use any worsted yarn, but I like using Malabrigo best for this hat because I like the way the loops look. You may get the pattern here:

I like it! Good job. I think the odd colors are part of the overall appeal. You couldn't have planned it better. Don't you love unexpected and unplanned design elements?

It is a great color combo and it looks great, but the loops would drive me nuts I think. lol Very cute hat!!!

I love it too. You did a great job on color selection. It looks sophisticated but fun, congrats!
