I'm curious if it is possible to knit in plaid (http://www.everbuying.com/product398427.html) as well.
A friend of mine said she figured out a way she could crochet in plaid. Anybody done it?

I'm glad you asked.

you can also knit in plaid by doing a few rows and changing the yarn to the other color and just repeat till you get the pattern you want.

Plaid can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it. There are lots of blankets in plaid and I've knit a simple child's sweater in plaid. For the sweater, the vertical lines were duplicate stitched up the sweater from bottom to top.
