I know what everyone is thinking!!
No it's not one of the self ruffling yarns.
This is a knitted scarf from regular yarn.
It's the ruffled pattern from Church Mouse called Barb's Koigu Ruffle.
It's knitted in fingerling weight yarn lengthwise. Never casted on 648 stitches before!!
Anyway, the the whole scarf is done in stockinette and it's 100% wool.
My question is how do I block this? I know it's going to roll like crazy but since it's ruffled it's going to be difficult to block.
Any ideas out there?:???:

Ya know...I looked at the scarf on their website...and I have to admit...if I knit this scarf...I wouldn't block it at all.

I don't think anything could be improved by blocking.

And besides that...it would be IMO impossible to effectively reshape it if you soak it, etc.

That's kinda what I thought. The pattern says to lightly steam iron the edges of the ruffles if you want them to drape a little more, but I think as I'm almost done I'm just going to leave it be.

I knitted Just Enough Ruffles in Malabrigo, which is somewhat similar. I didn't block it. It's one of my favorite scarves, BTW!
