I am working on a pattern that calls for k2 purl2 ribbing on a circular needle. Is this done the same as k2 p2 (knit the knit, purl the purl) ribbing on straight needles? Or is it knit the purl and purl the knit since I am not turning the work?
Thanks!

I think that k2p2 on straight needles is actually Knit the purl, purl the knit when you turn, right? Not positive though, I have had issues with ribbing the past...

But anyway, just keep going around alternating k2 and p2 on a circular--you can easily see the stitch you need to do next and as long as you have the right number of stitches cast on, it works out just fine.

Just keep doing k2p2 over a multiple of 4 stitches, and it will work. It should look the same to you as if you're working on straight needles. The video on doing ribbing should clarify it if you have any doubts ("basic techniques/ more" page).
