I'm having trouble learning how to purl. I've watched Amy's video ten times and pause after every step but it always adds extra sts onto the empty needle. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? My grandma is on vacation..she taught me to knit. Thanks in advance,Brooke

Sounds like you may be approaching the stitch by putting the right needle in front of the working yarn, instead of in back of it. ?
