I am about to start on a loop st bathroom rug, because Amy's wonderful video inspired me ( :notworthy: ) & have a question:
What if I dont want loops as big as my thumb? Has anyone ever used anything besides their thumb to make a loop? A sharpie marker, perhaps? And, if so, how do you hold it along with your yarn & needles & glass of wine (oops! Did I say that? )

Kelly, that's a great question! I don't know! Try holding a pen, that sounds like it could work. Maybe one with a rubbery shaft, so the yarn doesn't slide off too easily when you don't want it to. Good luck!
And if you ever figure out how to hold a glass of wine and knit.... :notworthy:
