Do you need different needles to make a hat?

Hats can be knit on either straight or circular needles, depending on the pattern.

Also....many hat patterns will tell you that you have to have double-pointed needles....but you can use two circular needls instead! Amy has a great video that shows how on the "advanced techniques" page. :thumbsup:
