Thank you so much for creating this website. I didn't realize this was such a new site. I'm so impressed with how organized and smooth everything goes.
You have done a fantastic job!!! The videos, the forum, etc. you offer so much for new knitters (like myself).
Thanks for all your time and effort you put into providing for all of us!

I thought the same thing...only six MONTHS....???? WOW.....you are one awsome girl!!! It is SOOO super easy to navigate....SOOO user friendly!!!
Thanks everyone! To me the impressive thing is how quickly you all have found this site, and made it such a lively place to be!!! Way to go you smart web-searchers! Nuno, I had no idea it would take of so quickly! Although I knew that the traffic from the original knitting page on my personal site would help. But STILL, the growth rate has been astounding.
Here's a little timeline for the curious:
2002-ish: Created a little "Knitting Resources" page on my personal site, with a handful of home-made videos and a bunch of links.
Fall 2004: Realized I was getting 6,000 visitor per month to my little resource page! Also met Marnie, who was a large inspiration to work more on my knitting page: I decided to turn the little page into its own (bigger!) site. (You know, just for the fun of it. My little hobby.) Worked like a mad-woman shooting videos and creating the new site....
Nov. 4th, 2004: Launched KnittingHelp.com!
Dec., 2004: DH had the great idea to offer CD copies of the site, for dial-up users. (Woah! Actually making a bit of income on the site; completely a surprise)!
Feb. 2005: KnittingHelp.com was already getting ( *gulp*) 60,000 visitors per month! Haven't checked the statistics in a couple months, I don't think it's much more than that at the moment, although I could be wrong.
Other fun facts:
~In January I was approached by Scholastic Press to do a knitting book for them. (Didn't work out, thankfully; if it did I'd be going out of my mind with how busy I am right now! It sure was cool to get the offer though!! :D)
~I'm working on my own pattern designs
~I'm working on a DVD.
~I'll be reshooting 100 videos this summer (the ones that don't have sound), and adding some more content.
Thanks everone! I love having you all in my life. I'm sure I have the best job on the planet. ....you make it all possible! *muah*!
