I simply cannot find a pattern for a felted beanie. (yes...a felted beanie. DH says that's about the only thing he'll wear.) I did find a cool reversibla beanie pattern, and I was wondering...is it possible to just add stitches (in an organized fashion of course) to make the pattern bigger and...be able to felt it? Sorry if that was confusing. :??

Why not just use the same pattern, and use larger needles? Do a felting swatch, so you can calculate the shrinkage.

Oooooh, okay! There's an idea I never thought of. So...is that all you do for ANY felt pattern? If so, this is a huge awakening for me...to maaaany project opportunities :D Thanks!

Here's a felted hat pattern that could be worked without the bottom "flip" www.lewiscraft.ca/project01.php?innum=3503 then it would be a beanie

and... here's a site of nothing but felted items www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/felted_items.php
