This is so funny, I was just writing my 100things and the first few were about how I used to not like my name...
Here I go, renaming now...

I am now Keran Ilse
DH is Stanley Kylemore,
my 5yo is Stanley Kalkin,
(which is funny; DS has DH's middle name for his first name - odd that it picked Stanley for both of their first names :??)
and my 2yo is Price Ferris
(Beuller? Beuller?)
I kind of like Ilse - and Keran is spelled neat...

um...I'm just a lil' lost with the name thing...@__@

But I can tell you how to make a Jedi name. :P

I'll use my friend as an example.

First name: Shawn
Last name: Pavlas (no he won't care, he's a singer/songwriter :P)

So you take the first TWO letters of his last name: Pa
and add the first THREE letters of his first name: Sha

so it would be: PaSha

and for the second part, you take the last THREE letter of the last name: Las

and add the last TWO letters of the first name: Wn

so his full Jedi name would be: PaSha LasWn

LOL!

Also, my Elvish name is Ennormir Lindurie (which I created my self, so no stealing!)

Ennor=middle earth, mir=jewel (Amber=jewel) So yeah. Lindurie=Lady of Song. :P

Who is this 'Becka'...? I am Naiara Omega, the wealthy African knitting princess, my father is king of our country, Omknittingger!! We are a proud people with knitting in our culture, in our spirit, in our very souls.

Al Lapacka. :rofling:
Royal Rebecca! :roflhard:
...and GlenBoRTR, I can't believe those poor two girls' names! I hope they get them legally changed before too long!

A friend of our family is named, on purpose: Mary Juana (first and middle names).

My former best-friend wanted to name her child Cleopatra. I told her I thought that would be torturous for the girl and begged her not to. My friend later dumped me, and part of her angry reasoning was that I was too opinionated about things like naming her daughter. *sigh* ...ya try to be a friend. Well, at least the daughter will thank me. She's got a beautiful name.

Speaking of names, last week I had a special week here at the KH CD shipping department. I sent a CD to a "Martha Stewart" (doesn't appear to be the famous one, believe me I looked into it! best I could, anyway. Martha, are you a forum member yet?) ...and then later the same week sent a CD to a miss Epstein. ...It had me all in a tizzy. Fantasy though it may be. (although nothing near as juicy as Rebecca's fantasy. ROFL)

__________I like you, but only as a friend.

OK, well, I'm a month late in finding this thread. I guess I really must start reading more than what my email notifies me about. (In case anyone is checking, I *do* realize I ended that sentence in a preposition, and I just have to say that if Winston Churchill can do it, then so can I.)

Oh, and btw, I must now be addressed as Talleen Matana.

It's just so ... me.

NO NO NOOOOO... you NEVER EVER give the guy a third choice.. he will pick the "only as a friend" one everytime. Know why? Because he will think that it will keep him looking cool to his friends, while not being as harsh as saying "NO" and will save you from burning his "The Clash" backpack, while preserving his future attempts to ask you out. Like, for sure.

:roflhard:

Oh gods.. having a teen daughter is JUST like this. I SWEAR around 3pm every weekday, I bleed from the ears. "GAB GAB GAB GAB Joey so and so said that Heather so and so wanted to go to the homecoming but then she said she didn't say that and then when Tina asked her she said she did want to go and then Joey asked Laura who told John she would go with him" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MAKE IT STOP!

I wonder what my new co-workers are going to think when I just spontaniously start bleeding everywhere.
