I notice that some words or combinations of words are now hilighted and double underlined and if you put your cursor over it... there's some sort of link you can go to. I noticed it on a phrase in my signature...
tell me
shows up this way...
Anybody know what that's about? It's never done that before...

well, when i can pin down dh to look over my shoulder so that i do the right thing, he helped my run a sweep of my computer. he tells me i get this stuff from all the stuff i look at online. i'm sorry, but he visits a lot less savory sites than me and how can going to craft or knitting websites cause cialis and poker crap to show up all the time!?

i spend more time clicking and end program-ing to get rid of stuff. but amazingly...HE doesn't have as much trouble...

Thanks honey for speading the knowledge.... what a buttcake...

download a free spyware program. i use spyware doctor. it seems to work fine. i don't have popup problems or anything like that. adaware worked fine too but i just didn't like it for some reason. go to download.com and read their reviews. something easy will show up in there.

hee hee, prolly shouldn't use Hildie's dh's cutesy name as a slam, but i like to say it... ;)

i tried a couple things and a guy at work says he uses AdAware too so I'll keep that in mind. the annoying linky type stuff is gone, but still i get a pop up or two. guess i have to overlap a couple spyware programs to get all clean...
thanks kids! this is the best place for all around knowledge as well as knitting!
