I bought a pair of those cheap bamboo needles at Target, and I've been trying them out. I really :heart: love :heart: them!!!! They're great. The stitches don't slide as easily through the needles, but for a non-beginner, they're fine. I'll probably stick with metal ones though, when I'm teaching people how to knit.

I saw those bamboo needles at Target, but I decided to go with the metal ones. Either way, they are a great deal for a buck a set! :thumbsup:

I bought a pair of the bamboo needles and hacked them into DPNs! :) 4 needles for a buck, can't beat that! I did have to take some sandpaper and wax to them, but then work great now.
