Well.....

I'm 9DPO (days past ovulation)....

I did the 'unthinkable' and did a HPT at work after lunch....

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

I got a faint, but definitely present, 2nd line.. :D

So I'm going to test again first thing in the morning (which is the recommended time of testing), and report back the result.

Could be cause for :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

Well ladies,

It wasn't any darker this morning, but to be honest, the type of test I'm using is an "all day" test, so I'm sure it'll get darker as the days go on.

I'm going to book in for a blood test first thing Monday morning.

LOL .. you guys!!!

We had a shocker of a time with the Dr yesterday afternoon... he was 'turnstiling' patients, not seeing anyone really longer than about 1minutes...

He got me in, got me to take a urine test, looked at it after 25 seconds, said it was negative and threw it away. Only on my insistance that I had THREE positives on HPTs with different brands, that he's booked me in for a blood test on Monday morning...

So to :P to him..

DH read 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' with me, and every time they compared the baby's current size to something, he changed his nickname for it, until it was big enough to be Lump. So we went from bean to something to plum to something and then to Lump, or Bump.

Sorry to disappoint, girls... but we've already chosen names (about a year ago.. LMAO)

If we have a girl, she'll be named:
Veronica Louise

If we have a boy, he'll be named:
Harrison (or Rohan) Daniel Stuart

Veronica and Stuart were my grandparents on my mothers side.
Louise is my middle name (duh), as well as my mothers.
Harrison comes from Daniel's family tree
And I'm so scared that our kid'll be harrased by having the name "Harry Porter" being so close to a famous set of kids books, that Rohan is my next favourite boys name..

Congratulations!

I can't believe I didn't see this thread until now! How exciting for you! Being pregnant is so much fun...I hope you have a great time! Be sure to give us lots of updates!

When I was pregnant with Olivia, my mom and I were looking for names in baby books. We saw Yehudi, which is Hebrew for praise/exalt. So that's what we called the bump until she was born!

This is soooo wonderful  I agree though to keep those baby vibes away from me. I would love one if it was given to me, but to be pg again. I don't think so. Babies are so great and cuddly. My youngest (11 yesterday) will still try to cuddle up on my lap if I let her. Now though she has a very bony butt! She's still fun to cuddle though and since she is the baby she is the only one who ever called me Mommy. There is nothing like being called Mommy :D
