View Full Version : V-Neck Sweater w/ Set-In Sleeves in the Round

Can anyone point me in the direction of a male sweater pattern that demonstratees how to do a v-neck and/or set-in sleeves? I plan to knit it from the bottom up in the round (of course, I'll most likely have to divide when I get to the neckline). I have never done set-in sleeves or a v-neck before. I am knitting this sweater for a male friend who is somewhat picky, and I want to get it just right :) I have a general idea for the pattern, I just need a little help with the neckline and sleeve techniques.
Thanks so much!

I don't know of a specific pattern--I've only knit one man's sweater for my son--they're just too big! Here (http://knittinghelp.com/knitting/videos/decrease/ssp-english-rds.mpg) are a bunch of sweaters for men. Maybe you can get an idea for a v neck from one of them.

Looks like you linked me to a video about SSP, heh.
Luckily, this man is quite skinny and likes fitted sweaters. Otherwise, I'd probably be making a hat or socks :)

I'm sorry, I must have forgotten to link on it. Try this. (http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/mens_clothing.php)
