We can add that phrase to the ultimate list of things that are LIES!
My favorite being what every parent says to their kid..."Honey, I'm not laughing AT you, I'm laughing WITH you!"

HA!

11-10-2005, 08:31 AM
Nope...that doesnt count, April.....we all REALLY DO need more needles, ALL THE TIME, so its not a lie, see? ;)

I say that all the time to dh!!

I'm so bad at getting more yarn when I still have so much more to do before I can get to that yarn... dh says it will still be there but what if its not?? :D

I dont even explain...he never goes into my stash, I pay with cash, and I think I buy yarn more for my SOUL than any other reason....buying yarn makes me FEEL good! :inlove:

11-10-2005, 09:01 AM
lol we sound like we are in the yarn mob pay with cash no trail of cost behind they can't track us... we sneak in our yarn under coats or wait till dh are sleeping or at work... we dare them to peek our at stash and they know what will happen if they try to talk sense into us.. sleeping with the fish :rofling:

11-10-2005, 09:03 AM

I want to be a member of the Yarn mob. I do that too. Don't say a word about my craft.

I tell myself the 'one more row' lie constantly it seems!

11-10-2005, 12:17 PM
'One more row' is no longer in my vocabulary...now it's 'when i'm done with this'.....or....'I can't put this down now' Lonnie so understands and says, "Okay, Babe, whenever u get a minute" :D

11-10-2005, 01:06 PM
One more row, and then I'll....
...make dinner...
...take dinner out of the oven....
...wash the burned pans from dinner....

...call my mother...
...listen to you (yeah right!!)
...see what the kids are fighting about...

11-10-2005, 04:53 PM
The grandsons have learned to start most sentences with, "Grandma, when you're done with that row, could you. . . . . . ."

11-10-2005, 11:36 PM
you know, I always say that, but I end up finishing a whole section before I got to bed

This morning for me it's been "One more post and then..." We'll I've been at it since 6am and I STILL haven't gotten in the shower yet!
