Now that I posted my soaker, i will show my forst project, a hat for my daughter, I made it a bit big, but I want it to fit for a couple years so I thought it would be better that way.
I made up my own pattern I guess, i just looked at a bunch of patterns to get the idea on sizing and to figure out how to do the decreases, then I just went for it! I used this really super soft wool/cotton/acrilyc blend yarn I got at joanns. Im anxious to do more different varieties, she loves hats!!!

You'll find that if you want any of our attention to go to your FOs, you will have to post pics without ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE children!!!

That's the very best way to knit IMHO, just figure out your own pattern as you go along, you learn alot more and you get to stretch your creativity muscles ;) Job well done :cheering: :cheering: Daughter is to cute ;)

here is a link to it on the joanns web page if it works

I bought it at my local joanns with a 50%off coupon RIGHT after i decided to try knitting, really it was the softest yarn I have ever felt, that was my motivation to actually try to make something!

I went back for some of the peach too and now have bought 3 more balls of the peach in hopes that I can learn to make a sweater with it before NEXT winter!
