Thanks! Foofie is a Coton de Tulear. Rather a rare breed still, but here's a few links. AS you can see when the fur is fully grown they look like tiny sheep dogs! Unfortunately the fur matts something awful! So we keep her pretty short and I still have to brush and comb her.

Reminds me of that children's story about Harry the Dirty Dog. Grandma makes him a dog sweater but all the other dogs laugh at him cuz its so silly so he tries to loose it but the kids won't let him. He ends up pulling on a little thread poking out and a little bird pulls on it unraveling the whole sweater and flies off with it. The next day Grandma comes to visit but they can't find the sweater so they go for a walk in the park and lo and behold there is a bird in a next made of Harry's sweater. :cheering:

Femmy...that story sounds so cute! I'll have to look that one up!

Rebecca...Sally is a cute doggie!

Tigger0229 ... I just finished Knit One, Kill Too! It was good! I guess I need to change my profile. I just started The Dogs of Babel by Carlolyn Parkhurst. It's not a knitting book, but looks good so far. I can't wait to read the new Maggie Sefton!

Thanks all! She is a cutie and definitely a Foofoo dog! She came home from the groomers yesterday with a little snowflake scarf on. ;)

I absolutely fell in love with the dog sweater pattern from Michaels.
I decided to make it for my Cousins yorkie. The eyelash yarn is rather expensive so I reversed and did the primary part out of a sport weight yarn with the strand of glitter in it. The used the eyelash for the upper body. It reminds me of a snowflake. Wanted to see what it looked like, so I put it on my cat. She actually didn't mind it..lol..

I'm amazed that your cat didn't mind! I think mine would be a whirling dervish! I did make her a little Santa hat last year that she tolerated for pictures, though. That'll look cute on the Yorkie, too.

Rebecca, Sally is soo cute!!

Emeraldcutie, your kitty looks just like my Zulu the markings and everything.. Zulu wouldn't have went for the sweater though she is rather mean and will attack with no warning LOL we have no idea why I"d hate to see me and the sweater if I tried that... wish she would though.. Cute!!
