I have to give credit to those people who finished Harry Potter scarves. The middle part of this was torture! But it's done. Far from perfect, but done, nonetheless. :happydance:

Great scarf! Your son is going to love it! You're so thoughtful to pay attention to what he's interested and then found a way to incorporate it into what you love! (Well at least you loved the end parts of it)

Do we need to discuss the airing of grievances again? :D

Besides, I just finished his hat. That's it for now....

But, his b-day is coming up, and I know he'd love that....fine. Now I feel guilty.

Almost.

yeah, that's what I hate about the leg and foot of "just socks." I love doing heels and toes and even cuffs. But hours and hours of going round and round just, um, build so much character :roflhard:

This is the scarf that my son gave to a Chinese Kung Fu master recently. The man is pretty much my son's hero and he went to see him wherever he happened to be visiting. Since it was Chinese New Year, everyone had brought a small gift. My son didn't, so he gave away the scarf, and was so thrilled to do it. I was thrilled for him, too.

It must have been fate, since he usually wears another scarf that I made for him, but grabbed the red one that morning.

Now the scarf is on it's way to China. (Or in a garbage pail at the airport. :teehee:) Nah--the Master was very appreciative of a monther-made scarf gift.
