nope its not. i was just worried about it felting funny because of the textures.. you know how when you felt domething with eyelash or something nonfeltable... i guess that was kind of a dumb reason to worry considering its wool!!! haha

thanks
you take roving fiber and needle it onto yarn or felt or onto itself. Hildie can explain it better.

This bag has me speechless. I like the colors before and after. The needle felting "does it" completely. You have really done a great job. I guess I will have to learn felting soon.

That is great! And it looks like adding 20 all around helped a great deal - I will have to keep in mind for my booga - I have 3 skeins of Noro and not sure I can get a 4th or noth in this colorway, but definitely want this one bigger than the last.

with the felting you don't really NEED a lining. I have one, and mine isn't lined. It really is a tight weave, so you don't have to worry about things falling out.

but if you DO...

ask KellyK how she did her "DK" mock hat...it's similar in construction.

(I chickend out...had it all typed up, realized it didn't make sense, cuz I don't REALLY know what I am talking about!!!) lol...

no liner really needed.

less is more honey...less is more....:)

OR....you can make one of those purse inserts..

I AM going to make myself one. Things tend to get "lost" in the bag I have....mine didn't end up as small as yalls. :)
