I knit for picky people.
I need to find yarns that don't shed.
Any recommendations or advice?

yeah well my first inclination would be to stop knitting for those people ;) but beyond that the only stuff i have had real problems with are yarns with Mohair (such as just about anything lambs pride and/or brown sheep) and any of the novelty yarns....fun fur etc.

There's always cotton and silk, too.

Try fishing line, or wire, or garden hose...

Seriously tho, I knit for myself. Because I like the yarn, or the pattern, or it's just something that I want to make. If you have customers that are so picky, let them choose the yarn. Then they'll have only your handiwork to complain about, and if that's the case, then you'll know that all they want to do is complain. Much better to lose them before you lose your cool. I used to own several businesses, and I understand that one dissatisfied customer could cost you twenty. But after trying to keep those constant complainers happy, it cost me my health (3 heart attacks, high BP, depression) and I closed my businesses due to the stress. Be good to yourself first, and everything else will line up. Good Luck.
