I have a couple of skeins of Kureyon that I don't really like the colors on and I thought I'd make a couple of hats for the Afghans for Afghans program, if I can do it in time.

I'd like to practice using circular needles, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a Kureyon cap I can do in the round?

I found a one-skein cap, but it's knit flat (pattern here (http://theknittinggarden.com/gallery-dec/dec-free-1.htm)) Could I just knit it in the round? not sure how to convert patterns.

TIA

Here's a hat (http://www.mielkesfarm.com/bsic_hat.htm) to knit in the round. It's very easy! I'm working on my second one now.

I tried This (http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/lb_bedding/article/0,2025,DIY_13993_2276410,00.html) 1-ball Noro hat and got to the end and didn't have enough yarn. I was using silk garden, but the yardage is the same on Kureyon... Of course, my ball had yards and yards and yards of felted bunched up thick yarn I had to remove from the ball, so that could've had something to do with it too.

I've made two noro hats in the round now, and I found that I had just enough for a girl sized hat, but the one I made for my father ended up being a little shorter then I would have liked, though he liked it.

this is a knit hat with a ribbed band that I fold up, so a pattern without that band might work perfectly.
