I've been all over the Internet looking for a short sleeve cardigan pattern. I'm thinking of a lightweight, lacy looking sweater that you would wear over a tank or sleeveless dress in the summer. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks :?)

Yes, I have looked at knitting pattern central and haven't found what I'm looking for. I was hoping someone may know of something specific. I'll keep looking. Thanks.

I have the book "The Knitter's Bible" by Clair Crompton and on pg 75, there is a lacy cardigan that is very nice. It is long sleeved, but I think it could probably be adapted to short-sleeved fairly simply.
Of course, I have never knitted a sweater, so take that with a grain of salt, but the sweater is in a section of the book that is teaching how to do increases and decreases while keeping the lace pattern.
You can see the cardigan by going to Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0715317997/qid=1136909774/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-2579107-5893565?n=507846&s=books&v=glance) and doing a search inside the book for lacy cardigan.
