Where's that prayer emote? Please let smocking become popular again, please! Smocked dresses were all the rage when i was little, and I've been secretly praying that they come back in style so I can bedeck the girls in them!

:waving: I have it ! And if I never knit a single thing from the patterns ... I have certainly enjoyed reading them and the pictures are soooooooooooo pretty! The Smocked Dress is so cute. I love the Edges and Trimmings chapter ... and there is a whole chapter on knitting with beads and cool things to do with buttons. For those of you who read knitting books ... it is a very good read.... and the instructions seem like they will be easy to follow!
