The only reason I'm knitting anything other than scarves is because of this website. Amy, what inspired you to start it in the first place? This has to be so much work and it obviously takes away from valuable knitting time!

It's funny how things happen... I was unnemployed for over a year, and was absolutely stir-crazy to do something with myself. Funny thing was, it was only when I finally got a part time job, that I found the motivation and energy to expand this site from the little knitting page I had on my personal website. Seems like once I got the wheel of activity going again by working, my activity and motivation snowballed. I worked on this site in every spare moment, with total determination, until I was happy with it! It was totally my pleasure to make this site. :D

There's still a lot I want to do, but it's kind of funny how time can so easily slip away. I can't believe how efficient I was getting this site up in the first place. Seems like now, when I want to even add a few videos, it takes me forever to get it together to put them up! LOL.

Amy, have you heard anything else from Knitty Gritty, like when your episode might air? I think last I read on the forum was Fall 06'? I could be hallucinating that, though.

Yay Amy!

As with others, you are a big reason why I am knitting more than just washclothes and scarves - I am even thinking of taking on cabling tonight!

Also, and offer of help. I'm a web designer myself, and would offer time and ideas should you ever need them, or don't have time to do it yourself. If you ever need anything, let me know!

Denise, I don't expect to hear for a while, I doubt they've set their schedule yet; it will be in next season's lineup, they said Fall or possibly Summer. ;)

DannahK, thanks. :D

 This site has given me the confidence to try something new. To be able to sit at home and get the information and view how the stitch is done.

 Definately the best site and so much better than a magazine of "how-to-knit"......

:)
