I checked through KPC of course, saw lots of cute cardigans but no pullovers that really tripped my trigger. Ideally I'd like it done in the round too.

I was thinking something like this general style, just not stripey, and FREE. ;)
I have some Red Heart Baby Sport pompadour in Starbright from my mom. I thought about trying the Last Minute Simple Stripes pattern from Knit Picks, but it calls for sock weight yarn on size 1 needles....that would take me forrrrrevah to do, plus it's not in the round. But maybe I could just do it in sport weight but knit the smallest size?
I also saw this pattern that mrsbrooks is working on,
http://www.thekingspottery.com/boogie_lilsis.htm
but I think Plymouth Encore is worsted, right? I could hold 2 strands together maybe, but my yarn is variegated, would it lose that effect? Plus I'm not sure I'm ready for button plackets yet. ;)
May I should just do a cardigan! LOL
