True, they're expensive...but if you have one size of straights that you really like above the others, it's not a bad thing to have.

I think these would come in handy in terms of knitting on the road... when you don't want to put the knitting away *just* yet, and the light is beginning to fade...

Plus I'm a bit of a Star Wars geek, so...

Hey, do you think Queen Amidala had a set of these? :lol:

Hilarious!

I sometimes have difficulty seeing stitches when knitting very dark colored yarns. I wonder if the lighted needles would provide some better contrast?

Do they turn red if you are evil? Or at least, up to no good?

I think they're really neat, and have a certain geekiness to them that I love. But I just wouldn't feel right using them unless the had light saber sound effects to go with them.
