I'm torn between beaming and blushing... thanks guys!! :D
I must have told my DSis about 15 times how cute they were... I kept picking them up and playing with them, I couldn't resist!! :rofling:
She's commissioned me to make her 3 more pairs, in pink, so she can have one pair for each of her kids... even though the other ones won't have been 'actual' baby socks, she thought it would be pretty cute to have

If someone had given me a pair of those for one of my kids or g'kids, they would be hanging from my rearview mirror when they didn't fit anymore!

What pattern did you use? DPNs?

My SIL is expecting the end of June and my little nephew or neice will NEED socks in NC come Oct or so.

I think I'm going to buy some Sock Memories in Paperdoll (http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/yarn_display_closeup.asp?itemID=23641&brandName=Knit%20Picks%20Yarns&lineName=Sock%20Memories&itemName=Paper%20Dolls) or Grandma (http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/yarn_display_closeup.asp?itemID=23647&brandName=Knit%20Picks%20Yarns&lineName=Sock%20Memories&itemName=Grandma)to make the ones for the girls... they all have birthdays coming up!! How cute would those be attached to the tag?? :inlove:

 One more thing to add to my list!! :cheering:

Those are adorable!!! Now tell me- were they quick to knit up because they are so small, or were they harder to knit because they are so small??

A little bit of both, really - - - I had to be careful of the needles, these things are so tiny that the dpns really do feel like wrestling a porcupine... but the dpn torture doesn't last very long, cuz they're so small!! :rofling:

I'm getting ready to post the pattern, I'll link it from here when I do. (There's another boy coming, so I'm making another pair right now!! :cheering: )
