View Full Version : FO infant size bubble and shoes
Although I'm not wildly crazy for Caron yarn, it's soft and glides though my fingers nicely. Best of all, I found it on Jo Ann's 50% off everything already reduced sale and it was $1 for 5 oz. It's Simply Soft Baby Sport.

Absolutely lovely! Love the little Mary Janes
Thank you everyone.
My pattern is a basic round yoke and then I see how nutz I can make myself with a lace pattern.
I out did myself (nutz-wise) this time. A 12 row repeat with 4 of the 12 rows having 33% more stitches.
There is no way to fix a mistake 'cept to frog, and frog, and frog.
It will be shipped to PA Monday and I'm pretty sure I'll get a picture back.

:notworthy: Everything is so beautiful! Since you made your own pattern; is there any chance you would share or sell it? Did you make up the pattern for the little shoes, too? They are so precious!
I type much slower than I knit, and I imagine much better than I can write directions.
The bubble is an off shoot of a plain dress I did a couple years ago and I did type it out at that time. However, it was in my old computer.
I may have it on disc, but I have don't have my computer stuff as organized as my knitting stuff, which isn't particularly organized.
When I get a chance, I'll see if I have the dress instructions so that I could add the rest for the bubble. It would be written for plain stocking stitch, because calulating the lace into the existing sts is more complicated than I would be able to put into words.
The other problem is that I experiment and do the button opening different every time. You'd have to be a little creative, and have had some experience with placket openings.
The short of it: I'd be happy to share, but can't predict how soon.
Below is a variation of the same pattern.

OK, I want a pair of those little shoes to fit *me*! :roflhard: They are SO cute!!!
Lana ... I think you could start a side business if you could market your patterns. Those are truly lovely!
(I have a skein of that yarn in my stash. It was passed down to me from my Grandma who passed away in 1979!! I was thinking of making it into some socks or a short scarf. It is quite soft, isn't it?)
