I saw a stuffed, knitted penguin the other day and fell in love with it. Is there a simple pattern I could use to knit a few up?

It says that it's "piquant" and on a difficulty scale of 1-4, I'd say it's a 3. Is there a pattern that a person with minimal skill could attempt?

You wanted a penguin pattern and now you want an EASY penguin pattern? :roflhard: Sorry, just kidding.
Looking at the pattern, there are a lot of short rows, which are not difficult once you know how to do them. There ARE a lot of instructions to follow, though, and so much seaming. What have you got to lose if you try it?
I googled knit penguin patterns and found this book (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0764157663/103-3335909-8941433?v=glance&n=283155) which calls itself easy and says it has a penguin.
